Anyone wishing to pre-order Jeep’s newest pickup, the Gladiator, would be wise to hold off for a few days.
Fiat-Chrysler North America announced via their website last week that they would be giving buyers a shot at winning a cool hundred grand, so long as they preorder their new Gladiator on April 4th. To celebrate what the company has christened “Jeep 4×4 Day,” Jeep is offering a special Gladiator Launch edition of the forthcoming truck. If a customer preorders that same trim level, they will be eligible to win “one-year’s salary of $100,000, giving them the chance to take time off to pursue their own adventures.”
Jeep revealed on their website that the model will be akin to a “fully loaded Rubicon model with unique badging, wheels and interior accents.” The launch edition is limited to 4,950 units, thus capping the total number of contest entries at that mark.
With Rubicon models starting around $45,000, the truck is likely to cost the contest winner over half their winnings after tax is factored. Still, someone has a chance to have their new truck paid for with enough cash left over to spend time adventuring, as Jeep suggests.
